Dermal Pigmentation is a specialised area within plastic surgery. It is used not only to enhance a patient’s physical appearance, but also to help address the psychological effects that can follow trauma. Medical pigments are carefully inserted into the dermal layer of the skin to help conceal scars, burns, cleft lip palates, hyperpigmented (dark)and hypopigmented (depigmented) surfaces, moderate/ severe stretch marks, birthmarks, along with a wide range of other skin colour/texture imperfections.

DermInk procedure are routinely performed in hospitals and private clinics to camouflage conditions associated with dermatology. Much of our focuses on either normalising irregular skin colour ,or minimising the appearance of damaged skin so that it blends naturally with the surrounding area, making scars and other perceived skin imperfections less noticeable, even on close inspection.

Theresa completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Australia and undertook further studies in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. She has over 15 years of experience and performed more than 20 000 procedures. Theresa specialises in Birthmarks, stretchmarks and scar and skin pigment abnormalities, with private practices in San Francisco, London, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, Australia.

The consultation fee is $175. 

However, this fee will be waived for patients with a valid medical referral. When scheduling your appointment, please let our receptionist know the name of your referring doctor, and bring along your referral with you on the day of your appointment. We’ll take care of everything—no extra steps required.
